How to know who has clicked onto website link
-
I am new to this, having started my review page Something New Reviews. I have had a number of campaign owners wanting me to review their products, and leaving a link on my site, so that people can go directly to their product and purchase. They are offering me commision for each person who follows the link and purchases, however i have no way of knowing who those people are, only how many clicked on the link. Is there a way i can do it so that i can get a name for those who click the link so i can send this to the company and they can pay me that way? I am on the free plan, but have no idea how to do this.

Hi there,
Is there a way i can do it so that i can get a name for those who click the link so i can send this to the company and they can pay me that way?
There is no way to get the names of any visitors to your site, no. We do not track that information, and while we do track the IP addresses of your site’s visitors, we do not provide that information to you under any circumstances. There does not exist any tracking service that can tell you the names of the people who visit or click links on your site. That’s not how websites and the internet works.
What will most likely happen in this case is that the companies whose products you review will give you a special type of link, called an affiliate link. That link notifies the company that gave it to you when someone clicks it, without any need of telling them who clicked the link.
Please confirm with the company directly whether that’s what they mean.
