How to left-justify using Yoko Theme
-
Hi All!
I am using the Yoko Theme, and absolutely love it, however I would like to override the current justification settings, and have all of my titles and dates left-justified over the content. Regardless of text, link, or photo.
Any help? Thank you in advance!

Hi there, Go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS to move the title/meta text to the left.
#content .entry-header, #content .entry-content { float: left; } -
thesacredpath – Thank you! This is fantastic. It worked perfectly for my picture posts. Do you know how to make it affect the text-only posts as well?
Best,

Emily, are you talking about like on “The Power of Silence”? If so, it can be moved up above the title, but putting it below the title would be a challenge since it would require position: absolute which means it would no longer flow and move in relation to the other elements of the web page, and if a post title went to two or three lines, they would overlap the relocated entry details.
-
For example, on “The Power of Silence,” the date, and ‘leave a comment’ link are left justified, and then the title and all of the text are indented by about an inch. Is there a way to make all of those left-justified as well? So it’s clean and conform all the way down?

Emily, the date and leave a comment link, as I said, can be moved over and above the post title and then the post can go full width as well. To move the date and comment link below the title is more difficult because it will no longer have a relationship to the other elements in the page, and if a title goes to two or more lines, it will overlay the date and comment link. Replace the CSS I had given you before with the following to see what that will look like.
#content .entry-header, #content .entry-content { float: left; width: 100%; } -
