How to let anyone like and follow my posts without having an account

  If I upgraded and created my own site with my own url and everything, how can I allow people who do not have a wordpress account to like and follow me? Since my blog doesn’t have WordPress in the url anymore I would think there’d be a way to let anyone like and follow my account maybe by just putting in their email just like on those sites where you review a product on a website but you don’t necessarily have to have an account to do so

  Hi there,

  Anyone can follow any public WordPress.com site via email, both via the action bar we already display on all WordPress.com sites by default and via the Follow Blog widget site owners can add to their site:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#if-you-do-not-have-a-wordpress-com-account

  You already have that widget on your site.

  However, Likes are a WordPress.com feature and require a WordPress.com account to use, and there is no way to allow someone to like a post without being logged in, just like you can’t like a Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or Medium post without being logged in to those services.
