How to limit email contact between site users until they pay an admin fee?

I work in tourism and I am attempting to set up a sort of agency for tour guides.

I need a way for a client to contact a guide, but keeping the contact “in-house” until the client pays an admin fee (with something like Fareharbor perhaps), after which they can contact each other directly. Is such a system available “off the shelf” as a plug-in or would this be a bespoke bit of building?

I’m pretty awful with IT stuff so forgive me if this sounds like a really silly question or if the answer appears obvious to you.

    Best,

    Taff :-)

  • Hi Taff,

these forums are for WordPress.com users on free plans – they can’t use plugins on their sites so I doubt you will receive many recommendations here. I am also unaware of a plugin like that so I would suggest asking the WordPress community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ :)

For issues related to your WordPress.com site, remember that you can access Live Chat directly via https://wordpress.com/help/contact.
