How to limite the size of post (in counted characters) in main page?

    I want to limit the size of the post in main page in number of characters. Is that possible to code it so when I add <!–more–> to let appear just 200 characters and then … and than “Read more”?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
