How to link a writing document in a button

    Hi there, I am completely new to building websites. I am using Bluehost as my domain and am building a website through WordPress using the elementor plugin. I am trying to create a portfolio page for some writing samples. I was hoping to link my sample writings on buttons. However, all my writings are currently in google doc format and the button is asking for a URL to link to. Is there a way to covert my writings into a URL or add them to my page so they don’t show up as a separate page on my website but show up in a new tab when I click on the button? Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re a hosting provider, like Bluehost, and not the same thing as the WordPress software you’re using over there.

    Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:

    And for help with a specific plugin, like Elementor, it’s best to contact support for that plugin directly.
