Create a blog page

Create custom menu https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/#4-create-a-custom-menu
Add the Blog page into it. -
thanks, it worked! but do you know if it is also possible to have a sidebar with a static homepage? cuz that option got deleted when i set it to “static”.
-
or is there any way to link the blogs to a tab in the menu at the top without a static homepage?

Every theme has a detailed theme description page. This one is at Every theme has a detailed theme description page. This one is at https://wordpress.com/theme/gateway and that’s where set up instructions for it and the live demo site link is found.

You do not need to set a static front page to create a custom menu and I see you have now reset that.

Hi there antlersandskylights,
do you know if it is also possible to have a sidebar with a static homepage
The Gateway theme doesn’t offer a sidebar on the static front page. It only uses widgets in the footer on that page.
is there any way to link the blogs to a tab in the menu at the top without a static homepage?
When you don’t use a static front page, your blog posts appear on the front of your site.
If you want to make links to certain categories of blog posts from the menu, you can do that by using Category Pages.
