How to Link DIRECTLY to a .pdf in media library without going to a blog page.

    I have a link on a page to a .pdf document that is in my media libray. When I do a “preview” of the page and click on the link, it brings up the document just fine.
    Now when I go to my Blog home page and click on the link, it opens up another blog page with the link highlighted . I need to click the highlighted link AGAIN to get to the .pdf document.

    Seems like it should be simple. All I want to do is have users click a link and see a .pdf document open up on their screen !!!

    How do I do this ????

    please post the of your wordpress.com blog.

    Note that most browser sdo not automatically read the PDF extension. PDF requires a plugin or reader software to view it immediately on their screen.
