how to link existing content
-
I’m writing a new blog post and I have a question about how to link existing content with the new wordpress.com editing format? When I click link it only has the option to add a url. I don’t see where to link existing content like the old verison of wordpress.com.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s a known issue in the new editor https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/editor-feedback?replies=730
If you use the classic editor this isn’t an issue.
You cannot deactivate the new Beep Beep Boop editor but you do not have to use it. For locating the ways and means of accessing the legacy or classic pages for creating posts, editing posts, and for viewing stats see here > Navigating the Classic WordPress.COM interface http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/
On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
To create posts in the classic editor for you that link ishttp://lexingtonphoto.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts one can hover over any post title and click the Edit link. and proceed with editing. -
Thank you for the quick response. Thank goodness for the classic editor. I will use that from now on because I don’t like the newer editor.

I’m with you on that. Maybe one day the new editor will have all the same features the classic editor has now. If and when that happens I will use it.
