How to link from main menu to my other wordpress.com site

Hi – how can I link direct to another free wordpress blog from the main menu of my other free wordpress site? I’d like the link on kareninglis.wordpress.com which says ‘MY AUTHOR WEBSITE’ to go directly to wellsaidpress.wordpress.com – but I can’t work out how to do this. I have tried to follow these instructions http://wordpress.org/plugins/page-links-to/ but there is no option to upload to the directory they mention. (And I now see those instructions are for the paid-for WordPress sites….) Is there a way I can link directly from my navigation bar to my other free wordpress site? I really hope so as at the moment it’s a very confusing customer journey! I look forward to hearing

Please toss everything that is for WordPress.ORG like linked to into the trash. The only relevant support docs for WordPress.COM blogs are at http://support.wordpress.com
You create a custom menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
You then add a custom link to the other blog into the custom menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-custom-links -

http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.
