how to link images in portfolio to external websites

  Hi,

  I’d like the link the images in the portfolio to external websites so that when the visitor clicks on the image, a new site pops up. How do i do this?

  Hi there,

  I don’t think pop-ups are allowed in WordPress.com. You can achieve this by opening them in new tab by defining the link using the ‘Link Button’ and check the checkbox to enable ‘Open link in a new window/tab’.

  Hi there – the portfolio functionality doesn’t allow you to link portfolio projects to external sites; they are automatically linked to the project page on your site.

  You could add a link to the external site to each portfolio project page, though. Let me know if that would work for you.
