How to link to existing blog after redirecting it to another domain

    I purchased the redirect which is working fine. However, I want to be able to link to and use the existing blog from the new domain. As it is, it only brings up the new domain.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I’m not clear about what you are trying to do.

    You had blah.com.
    You also had blah.wordpress.com.
    You purchased the redirect from blah.com to your WordPress.com, mapping the domain name to WordPress.com.

    Now you want to link back to the blah.com site?

    If the domain remapping is done, it will redirect to the new site.

    Are you saying that you had another site with the blah.com address on a web server? Contact your web host for information on how to handle that since the address is redirected to the new location on WordPress.com.

    Thank you for your reply. The redirect goes to a new non-Wordpress site. I want to place a link to the blah.wordpress.com blog on the new site. I could open a new blog, but prefer to keep the one I already have and keep all the information on it, plus continue to use it for blogging.

    However, I must have the redirect from blah.wordpress.com to blah. com site.

    You cannot have both. You can export the content from the WP.com site to the site where you are redirecting things TO, however. But any attempt to link to the old site will just be redirected to the new site, and there is nothing you can do about that if you wish to keep the redirect in place.
