How to log in wp-admin after transferring site

    Hi

    I designed a website for a client under my subdomain and then when I was done, I had my host transfer the site to my client’s domain. Now client wants some edits done on the site but since its transferred, how do I log in to it? Client has no WordPress account as they are not technical.

    Hi there,

    What is the URL of the site? You are posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, but it sounds like you built the site using the open source version of WordPress at another host, in which case we don’t have any control over the site.

    If your original admin credentials for the site no longer work, and the site is no longer under your hosting account, the only way you’d be able to log into it again is if your client created an admin user on the site for you, and sent you that user’s login credentials.

    Please contact the hosting provider directly, or through your client’s hosting account, for more help with this.
