How to log into my WP account when my username and password aren’t recognized and I’ve since closed the email account I registered with

  Hello,

  I began a WordPress site earlier this summer. My computer died so I am now using a different computer, one that I don’t think I have logged into WordPress on. I have also closed my old gmail account that I used to register this WordPress site.

  My username and password forthe new site are not being recognized, even though they have not changed and what I was entering is correct. With my old gmail account closed, I cannot have a password reset link sent to me.

  I am unable to provide a transaction ID, activation URL or key, or two factor authentication codes because I didn’t AFAIK create two factor authentication codes and the transaction ID and activation key if sent to me would have been sent to my old email.

  I’m not sure how to proceed here in terms of getting WordPress to send me what I need to reset my password or log in.

  Can anyone provide any suggestions? Thanks.
