How to make a download link from my free WordPress.com blog

  Hi,
  I’m new. My blog: toucheefeelee.wordpress.com/

  I want to have a thumbnail on my blog and when people click on it, it should download a bigger version of this picture to their computer.
  How do I do that?

  I tried to use a Box.net widget but I only have a footer, no side bar, so that’s not working out plus the box.net thing is weird. I just want a very simple ‘click on the pic to download’ thing.

  You can link the thumbnail to the image that you want and then people can right click and “download linked file” or click on the image and then save the image when it opens in their browser window (file menu > save or drag to desktop).

  I don’t know of a way to do the download automatically without using javascript and javascript is not allowed here for security reasons.
