How to make a link appear as image, just as YouTube videos do

  By using [youtube=link], the YouTube video image appears instead of the actual url. Is there a way to do this with a standard website so that an image appears instead of url?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It’s not done in the way you describe, but you may use images as links. See the Image Links support page.
