    Hello,

I want to make a parent menu item non clickable but the child menu items – under the parent menu item clickable. I tried following the tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A65fU23uFM but I do not have an option for Custom Link in the menu section. Is there another way to do this?

    Hi,

If you haven’t already created a custom menu, then you’ll need to create one in order to create an unclickable menu item in the menu. See the Create a Menu section of the Site Menus support page.

Once you have a menu created, you may add menu items as described and illustrated in the Add Menu Items section of the support page. The gif illustration in this section also shows that the “Custom Links” option is at the top of the available menu items. It should be like this on your site at Customize > Menus > Menu name > Add Items.

Instructions for how to create an unclickable top menu item are provided in the Site Menus support page at Frequently Asked Questions > How do I create an un-clickable parent tab for my sub-menu?

The video you linked to describes how add an unclickable custom link menu item at the WP-Admin Menus page, so the procedure is a little different.
