How to make a responsive featured image
-
Hi is there anybody out there who would be so kind to help me with my featured image issue? I need the featured image to be responsive as all about my theme is the fullsize screen, which obviously looks only great on my laptop and cuts the images on all other screens. I need the images to display with a 100% width and an auto hight. Anybody out there who is facing the same problem? thank you in advance. Cheers Ags

Hi @szeptaplusminus,
I can see that your custom domain name servers are pointing to WORDPRESS.COM.
If you have an upgraded plan, you also have direct support from Staff via live chat or email when you post through your dashboard at https://wordpress.com/help/contact.
Cheers!

@szeptaplusminus, this is very difficult to do with Full Frame. You can try adding the following to your custom CSS and see what you think. It does leave just a sliver of black on the side of some images. It will be very important that you make all of your featured images the exact same proportions (height to width) as it would be quite a challenge to adjust all the images individually.
.home .hentry { background-size: contain; -webkit-background-size: contain; -moz-background-size: contain; -o-background-size: contain; height: 66.59vw; } -
