how to make a single image a homepage?

i began using WordPress.What i want to know is how i can create a page where it’ll be a single picture and if visitors click the pic it leads them too my page.any help?

Dashboard ->Settings ->Reading ->Front page displays ->A static page (select below) and “select”

alright thanks now my question is do i have to mess with the ccs to make that static page all black with jus a single image showing?

I am not aware of a way to make a single page of a theme black. You would have to change the whole theme.
