How to make a two column like a newspaper website

  Hi, i am wanting to know if there is a plugin that can make my wordpress site look like this http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/

  I am looking at the two columns where they have the two images next to each other with the title above the image and the text next to it on the right

  Also, i have been struggling with something for many years. I can never get my site to finish off with a sentence when i have the introduction on the home page. Like the link above, they do not have any missing letters or words, they have the complete sentence, how do i do this

  Howdy,

  Well, first of all plugins aren’t supported by WordPress.com. You’ll need a WordPress.ORG blog to use plugins.

  Secondly I don’t think a plugin will do what you’re looking for. You’ll want to find a theme that has that two-column option.

  I have not built the site yet that I am wanting a plugin. I want to be able to have two columns like that link and I am looking at where the intro text finishes with the sentence and not words missing

  Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

  For that type of functionality you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG software install running on a paid web hosting service.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins (passwords), features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   You can hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting and move your content into a WordPress.ORG install https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-to-a-self-hosted-wordpress-site/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
