How to make an email follower a user?

  I have tried searching on Google and here to find an answer but have been unsuccessful. Here is my question.

  I would like to make some of my email followers into users that can post as contributors. There does not seem to be a way to select a follower and add them into the users group so that they can be made into a contributor.

  How would I go about doing this? The only person that shows up as a user is myself and none of my followers.

  Hello there,
  If you’d like to invite others to publish posts or help approve comments on your blog, you can invite them to be a Contributor, Editor, or Author on your blog. > Invite People to Contribute to Your Blog

  P.S. Your site stats page displays how many followers you have, who your followers are, as well as how many people are subscribed to post comments on your site.

  Hi,

  I’ve tried for hours now to find a way to change a follower to user with no success. When I send an invite to that follower to become a contributor, I get an error message stating that I can’t use the same key activation.

  Please help? Thanks!
