How to make an image widget title clickable?

  Hi

  topic title speaks for itself. I’d like to be able to click on the image widget title and have it link to an article. Obviously the image has a link but want the title to be clickable too. Everything I’ve read says I need a plugin but that’s not an option on wordpress.com.

  You can’t. Use a text widget, and still, the title will not link to an external file. The contents can. Titles of widgets cannot link to other things in WordPress.com.

  @dawnandrachel, what you can do is to not title the Text Widget and then include the linked text at the beginning of the Text Widget content. You can use a draft post to write the Text Widget content and use the formatting options in the editor to style the text. After you have it how you want it, switch to the Text tab in the editor, copy the content and then paste it into the content area of your Text Widget.   Your custom title will likely not look just like the other widget titles, but if you post back here, we can help style it so that it does using some inline styling.
