How to make black border around social media icons in sidebar transparent HTML
-
Hi! I was wondering if someone could help me get rid of the black border surrounding my social media icons in the right sidebar please.
This is the HTML code I have so far in my text widget:
<div align=”center”> <img src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-fb_48.png” /> <img src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-twi_48.png” /> <img src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-rss_48.png” /> <img src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-su_48.png” />
Thank you,
Marisel

I don’t see any black border. I recreated a test page and this is what I see it:

Hope this helps.

Perhaps you could use this code:
<div align=”center”> <img style=”border: 0″>src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-fb_48.png” /> <img style=”border: 0″> src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-twi_48.png” /> <img style=”border: 0″> src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-rss_48.png” /> <img style=”border: 0″> src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-su_48.png” />
</div>Good luck.

I tried the code above, however, the text widget automatically deletes out parts of it when saved. When I view the front page of the blog on Google Chrome, I see the thin black box surrounding the coffee cups. But when you view the page, you don’t see the boxes around the cups? Perhaps it is Google Chrome that makes the boxes appear?
The text widget saves on this when I enter the code above:
<div align=”center”> <img style=”border:0;”>src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-fb_48.png” /> <img style=”border:0;”> src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-twi_48.png” /> <img style=”border:0;”> src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-rss_48.png” /> <img style=”border:0;”> src=”http://lagastronomiaroja.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/latte-social-icon-su_48.png” />
