How to make blog post tiles appear on my sites homepage?

  So I have a wordpress blog that is with my site.

  http://www.mixed-studios.net/

  If you click blog you can see it. What I want is blog posts to appear on my sites homepage. A short summary of the post or just the titles on the left or right side of the page. How am I supposed to do that with wordpress? Help would be greatly appreciated.
