How to make blog posts all separate on main page
-
I was using a free theme that separated my blog posts (mainly pictures in my post) on the main page. Now that I switched themes, its lists out all my blog posts onto one page. How do I revert back to having each blog post separate on the main page and you would just need to click on the blog post picture to see the pictures from that blog instead of scrolling through all the blog posts on one page?
Hope that makes sense!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I see you are using Cubic now, which shows the featured image and the post title and date on the main page. Is what you have right now what you are wanting?
-
Yes, I reverted back to my original theme used before and that’s what I wanted when I switched to the new theme called “Sketch”. But then, it just put all my blog posts onto one page.

Ah, cool. The main page on the Sketch Demo Site is showing Portfolio Projects. It is not designed to show posts in that way. It is aimed more at artists, designers and illustrators.

Just to add to this post – I have a question about sketch – I have changed to this layout and want to have the posts all on the front page with a feature image, however, I can’t get them there. I have added tags and then selected that tag as a featured content, but it just lays the posts one under the other like before. I just saw you mentioned Portfolio projects as the main purpose for sketch. Does that mean it will not work with regular blog posts? Really like the images on the front page and would like the readers to be able to click on the post/image to read the story. Would appreciate any advice… thanks.

@sailingpeacocks, that is correct, it will not display the posts in a grid, and also will not show a post slider at the top. Here is our Theme Showcase filtered to show free themes that have post sliders. Note that you will see Sketch listed there, and I’m checking into that as I think it is in error.
