how to make comments appear on the front page
-
Hi,
I am new to wordpress and i have just created a blog. I tested it out, and everything is fine
except the comments that people write, do not appear on the front page. I have to click the
‘comments’ button to view them. Is there anyway i can make them appear all on the front page? Thanks!

Hi,
To view your comments, go to the front page, and look on the post for something that says comments. Than you will be able to read your comments. Im not sure if you can make comments appear on the front page without having to click comments. That would kind-of be spam, since you would have all these comments like “Hi” or “Hi nice blog.”

There is no way to change that on WordPress.com; if your blog is an independently-hosted WordPress blog, however, you can make that change. You’d need to look over at WordPress.org for help on that, though.
It’s always easier to give a precise answer if we can see your blog, so please give us a link when you ask a question.

The comments are only visible in full-page views of each post. There’s no way around it.
What you can do, though, is put the recent comments widget in your sidebar. It will show who commented and on which post.

Or, if your comment moderation isn’t on, turn it on, and than go to Comments and than you can view them that way. In my view, having comments appear on the front page is pointless, especially if you recieve 30+ comments.
