How to make drop down menus

    I have been trying to create a menu across the top of my blog with categories and then a drop down menu for each one for weeks. I have read tutorials, watched videos and read books and I am still about to lose my mind. This is getting very taxing at this point. Is there a user friendly plug-in out there somewhere that can help me with this. If I could just get this the rest is relatively easy. I am running the theme lets blog and I have requested assistance from the dev but have not heard back yet. If anyone has any suggestions I would be eternally grateful, I am about to throw my laptop out the door.
    I am running WP 4.3.1

    Hi @marthaj715,

    Please don’t throw your laptop out of the door (or anywhere for that matter).

    I can give you some quick information and say that it’s very possible that your theme doesn’t even support custom menus.

    Very sorry, but this forum is for sites hosted on WordPress.com.
    It seems like you are using a self hosted version of WordPress.

    There are thousands of great knowledgable volunteers over at the WordPress.org forum who can help you out. Just ask the same question over there
