how to make featured images fill the frame?
-
Hi there, I’m using the Opti theme and really like it. One thing I haven’t figured out though; how to make my thumbnails fill the frame, instead of being cropped (which makes the images )? My latest post is displayed as it should, but once a level lower (latests posts) the featured image is cropped.
I have already resized the images with this code: #recent-excerpts .wp-post-image {width: 130px;}
But this only makes the images more blurry;
thanks!

Please read this page:
https://wordpress.com/themes/opti/ and especially note Quick Specs (all measurements in pixels) at the end of the page.
Read also https://wordpress.com/themes/opti/support/ “Featured Images”.5. The featured post thumbnails (on the homepage) are 345 pixels wide by 210 pixels high.
6. The smaller post thumbnails are 105 pixels wide by 85 pixels high.
7. The category archive thumbnail images are 120 pixels square.
8. All featured Images are generated from the same initial image so make sure to keep the focus of the image in the center as the surrounding content may be cropped.Need extra help? Visit the Opti support forum.

Thanks Timethief, so what would you advice me to do? I want the best looking thumbnails possible, while not making them bigger than necessary.
thanks!
