How to Make First Post?
-
I set up three blogs last month (theohiolaborlawyer.wordpress.com, theohioemploymentlawyers.wordpress.com, and theohioconstructionlawyers.wordpress.com). All three are up and have been tailored by me. I am now trying to add the first post, but I cannot find where I have that option. In fact, in my dashboard, shows that I do not have any blogs registered. I imagine there is an easy solution to this, but I just can’t seem to find it. Thank you, Matt.

theohiolaborlawyer.wordpress.com has not been registered, but the other two have. When you are logged in, go to your dashboard and near the top right of the screen you will see a ‘New Post’ button. Click that and start writing. If you are logged in, you will also see an option to go to the post writing page from the navigation bar at the top of the screen, visible from your blog.

It is confusing for those of us who have more than one blog, cuz it no longer lists the other blogs on the horizontal navigation dashboard. While it’s clear, as to what blog a dashboard is on, it isn’t clear that one’s other blogs still exist. So, I understand where you’re coming from Matt. You’d have to go to the top left (my dashboards) to switch from one blog to another, for now on.

@diamondfistwerny, I’m not sure what you mean. My blogs all appear, as they always did, in a dropdown box from the horizontal navigation bar. On the dashboard there is a dropdown box on the righthand side to switch between blogs.
But none of that seems to be related to the OP’s question.
-
It was related, he can’t see where his other blogs still exist. On the old dashboard, the other blogs were listed horizontally across the dashboard.

He didn’t say it “said” that, he said it shows none; which I’m taking as it’s no longer on the dashboard – cuz the new upgrade stripped that away.
