How to Make Header Image Responsive

  I’m trying to make my header image responsive. I’ve copied various bits of code that I’ve found on google and pasted into different areas but it either does nothing at all or the picture goes away and is replaced by the text of the code. I’m a complete newbie at all this and have no idea what I’m doing. What code do I need and where do I need to put it? Thank you! http://www.londonpeanuts.com Adelle theme
