How to make header opaque?

    I’m working in the Fontaine theme on WordPress and have my site all ready to go except the header. The header is stick, which I want, but when I scroll down, it runs into the word on my page. How do I make it opaque? I want it to be the same color as the background of the site itself, just to remain its own solid bar, non-transparent, when I scroll down. Is this possible? How? Thank you!
