How to make homepage display story previews & not whole story?

  How do I get my homepage to display previews of stories instead of the entire story I’ve posted? (I am using the Splendio theme.)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  When I go to my ‘dashboard’ and go to the ‘reading’ section under ‘settings,’ I see a button that says: “For each article in a feed, show” and then asks me to select either “Full Text” or “Summary.” I have selected “Summary” and clicked “save settings,” yet my home page still displays the full text.
