How to make images bigger in posts

  Hello,

  Whenever I do a post my images always appear too small. I tried using online resizing tools but they in the posts they are still the same size. I thought maybe the problem is with the theme, but I am using Twenty Ten and other blogs with the same theme seem to have bigger images. I tried to customise images in WordPress through Media Library but I don’t seem to be able to rescale them and anyway, when I view them there the images seem to be much bigger than in my posts. Do you have any ideas why it’s happening? Thank you.
