How to make links highlight when a mouse is hovering over it?

  This post here, at the bottom you see the links I have. The huge writing you can’t miss it. How do I make them highlight when someone hovers their mouse over top?

  i’m trying to do the same thing with my home page image. i know you’ll probably have to first make a second image of each link, but change the color of it. for example, what you have now is black, you should make another version of it in, red, let’s say. so now you’d have the mouseover image. it’s the code that i’m stuck on. i’ve searched and tested, but unfortunately haven’t found any code that would work on wordpress.com yet
