how to make multiple posts private

  I do not want to permanently delete certain posts. However, I would like to select a bunch of posts and mark them private but the bulk actions do not offer this – and if this is not possible how do I even make a single post private? Thanks!

  You can make multiple posts private by going to your Dashboard -> Posts page and selecting all of the posts you’d like to make private.

  Then, in the drop-down menu under Bulk Actions, select Edit. Next to Status, you can choose Private from the drop-down menu. Just be sure to click Update for the changes to take effect.

  You can also manually change this via the Publish module on your Edit Post page:
