How to make “must be 18 or over” message
-
I am making a blog that has some adult content and need to create a “must be 18 or older” message that appears before the blog does, but I don’t want to change the subdirectory.
Anyone have any ideas how I could do this?

You could make a static page with the message and then under options > reading set it as the “front” page.

Ok, if I do that, what is the way/link to link back to the “multi-post” view that the default front-page is?
-
Use a text link

Is there not a PHP option for this? I was thinking something in the index.php file or the template index file that will only show content if the variable “over18=yes” even using the get protocol would be fine. It is not meant to be super secure, just an intervention.
Any other thoughts?

Ah I’m sorry…I should have mentioned. I am self-hosted. Is this board not for self-hosted wordpress users?
