How to make my blog a subdomain?
-
I would like to keep my hosted blog, but have it appear under a subdomain. For example, instead of http://www.rockerroseart.com I would like it to be under blog.rocketroseart.com.
It would be good to have all Google indexed pages redirected accordingly as well.

Hi Greyrocket,
On WordPress.com, you can use a subdomain of a domain that you already own. For instance, if you already have a website (yourgroovydomain.com) and you have a WordPress.com blog at, say, example.wordpress.com, you can put your blog in a subdomain of your main website, such as blog.yourgroovydomain.com.
Mapping a subdomain with the Domain Mapping Upgrade costs $13.00 per subdomain, per blog, per year.

Hi Michael
At the moment I use my own domain ‘rocketroseart.com’. I assume if I remap it from rocketroseart.com to blog.rocketroseart.com then all Google indexed pages would fail.
Is this correct?
