How to make my homepage look like the demo

  Hi, I have the featured content sorted and love it, but in the preview picture of the theme you get two stories side by side instead of one at a time.
  Is there a way to activate this on my own homepage? I’d like my readers to see two stories at once as they scroll down. Thanks!
