How to make my last published post read first?

Hi,
I have just completed and published my latest post, but it reads as a separate item. I want it to read first, and the other 3 former posts to follow. How do I make this happen?

From what I see, your latest post was published on 12/10/2017.
I went to https://artandthislondonlife.wordpress.com/ and it seems to be showing posts in descending order (latest post first).
Is there a more recent post than ‘Avatars – 25.11.2017’ that’s not showing up? Perhaps check to see if it’s published.

Yes, this is the thing, I wrote a story called ‘Emigration’ and then published it, but it has not appeared before Avatars, which is how I wanted it to read. I want my last post to read first, with the previous 3 to follow. Emigration is listed as a separate piece.

Hello artandthislondonlife,
It looks like the “Migration” story that you posted was created as a “Page”, rather than a “Post”.
You can read a bit about the differences here: Post vs Page
To fix this, you could go into your Page management, select “Migration” and copy all of the content. Then go into your Posts, create a new one, and paste all the content that you copied.
Once you have confirmed that the Migration post was successfully created, you can delete the Page version.After that, your Migration story should appear first on your list of posts.
