how to make my pictures bigger?

Hi there – Im struggling to get my photos to a decent size – although they’re not professional standard they should be good enough to make bigger than what they are. Could it be the theme im using? Im currently using Penscratch and when importing pictures they go in at a default size which is really quite small. Any advice would be gratefully received!!!

When you click “Add Media” and choose an image from your files or from the media library, on the right hand side of the Insert Media module you’ll find two sections:
1. Attachment Details, which includes thumbnail of the image, its date and size, and a group of changeable fields: URL, title, Caption, Alt Text, and Description.2. Attachment Display Settings — here you can modify the alignment, the “link to” option, and the size, in three drop-down menus.
The place to modify the size is the last drop-down menu under “Attachment Display Settings.” Once you modified this setting and inserted an image, the default size is reset. the images you upload or grab from your media library will be inserted at your chosen size: thumbnail, medium, large, or full (all of these options may not be available for each image). The maximum width and height at each of the non-full sizes is set at your Media Settings page.
