how to make my to appear in the Reader

Hello, could you , please, provide some insights on how the Reader list is compiled and how my blog http://www.arts-ny.com can appear in it? Are there any rules for tag setting, post categories, etc. that needs to be followed within my blog? Thank you in advance for your help.

You can get your content appeared on reader using tags, yes there are some correct methods to do so , here is guide which will help you with it Tags for ReaderAlso additionally, if you would like to get some more traffic for your site here is a useful guide Getting Traffic and Views

I seem to be following the rules for setting the tags, however when trying to see all the posts under the same tag as the one used for my post, my blog doesn’t appear on the list. Not sure what the reason is…. -

Hi there, I see that your site at arts-ny.com is using the standalone WP (org) software.
The Reader is a feature for WordPressdotcom users, who can follow your site either by adding your site’s RSS feed in the Reader or by you adding the Jetpack Subscriptions module and widget to your self-hosted site to allow WordPressdotcom users to follow your site more easily.

https://jetpack.com/support/subscriptions/Regardless of the above, your self-hosted WP (org) site’s categories and tags do not connect to the WordPressdotcom Reader. That is a feature currently exclusive to sites hosted on WordPressdotcom.
