How to make new posts appear on a page connected to a menu?

  I’m trying to connect new posts to a page, like News. This page was earlier connected to a menu. This way I’d have the latest post on the page directly visible when clicking the meny and with referances to the latest posts below. I can’t seem to find this connection now. It was earlier found under ‘Menu, change and ‘link to post’, I think. Can anyone explain how to do this now? I don’t know whether I’ve changed the settings, or WP has been updated. But it doesn’t work like before.

  You can have particular posts, under particular pages by connecting the with the same category, the guide will explain you better in details, how to do the needful Category Pages

  I’ve managed to make the categories a part of the menu. But I would like my latest post to be opened at once when you click the menu. And then a few references to a couple of other posts lately. I had this before. But can’t find it now. Is anything changed in WP? Or perhaps I have changed the setting without knowing…

  Hi again!
  For having your latest post to be open on a menu item, WordPress by default shows latest posts on the front page. So you just need to Themes–>Customizer–>Static Front Page and select your latest posts.

  If you would like to have your latest page on other Menu items, then use this guide Menus to Add or Edit a Menu item, set it as Custom link : and put the value of your Custom Link to ” / ” (forward slash) or lierfossregnskap.wordpress.com
  It will display all your latest posts.

  And then a few references to a couple of other posts lately.

  You mean you had Posts below your Posts ? You can use this guide
  Related Posts
  Or anything else, if you can provide some more details, we can figure out which feature it would be.

  You are very kind. Thank you. Guess it is OK as it is now. But I was more happy with the way it looked when I had my posts to a page displayed at a menu. Thing is; We need a static front page with general info. So I can’t use that. But will your advice. Thanks

  You can even have your static page in place, and set that as your Home Page set another page for Blogs , here is the guide which will help you with it Static Front Page
