How to make pictures larger?

    When I go to edit a photo all the options larger than 100% are grayed out and I can’t choose them. Why can’t I make a photo larger in my post if I want to?

    As we note on the photo editing page, “Note that images can only be scaled down, not up.” The reason for that is enlarging an image past its full resolution leads to blurry or pixelated images.

    If you wish to use larger images, you should upload them at a higher resolution, which will offer you more flexibility.
