How to make post contents full-width below sidebar?

    Hi there, hoping someone can provide guidance, I’m very new to this.

    I am using the Bitacora theme for a website of short stories. As such, the post contents of each post continue well below the end of the sidebar with social links, featured image, etc. Once the text has extended below the contents of the side-bar, I would like for it to change to one full-width column, rather than having 20%+ blank space on the right side of the page for the subsequent 3000 words of the post.

    Does anyone know how I can achieve this? Thanks,
