How to make “Post password” field editable plain text
-
I have password protected a single post, but when a user attempts to enter text into the password field, nothing displays – not dots, asterisks or anything. So the user doesn’t know that they are even editing the field. If I DOUBLE CLICK on the field after entering something, then I can see what I have entered, but thats not a good behaviour.
I want to change the password field for post protection so that the characters entered by the user are visible to the user AS THEY ARE TYPED.
I have set the input type to “text” so now I see the characters when I double-click, but still the field looks empty while I am typing the password, and there is no indication of the presence of a cursor at all.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
