How to make Posts in the Front Page shorter
-
So on my front page on my blog, it shows the whole content for all of my current posts. How can I make it so that only a portion of each post shows on the front page? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
You can shorten your blog entries so that only the first part of the post is displayed on the home and archive pages. This is done by using the More Tag.
You can find the More Tag button in the first row of the visual editor toolbar. Once you’ve added content to your post, place your cursor at the spot in the post where you want the More Tag to appear. Then click on the the “Insert Read More tag” button.
Here is a support document that will help you: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/

Hi there,
I’m pretty sure you can use the More Tag to collapse each post. Please feel free to read the guide here to learn more:

Let us know if you have any further questions.
Thanks,
Gideon
