how to make profile changes permanent?

when i try to make a change to my biog in my profile, it doesnt stay changed, but changes back to its original content. ikn other words it wont save changes.

Assuming that you’re referring to Users -> My Profile, do you see any errors when you save?
If not, I’d like to rule-out a browser-specific issue. Would you please try again in Chrome or Firefox?

i see no erros reported. and ive tried ms explorer; firefox and chrome. i just cant get the website to save changes in my profile. also ive cleared out the cache etc.
maybe ill just have to live with it because everything else seems normal, for example i can change the contents of the blog itself ok. -
The profile itself is actually part of Gravatar. Are you able to change it directly at http://en.gravatar.com/ ?
