How to make RSS feed button work in my blog?

    Hi, I’m new to blogging, but I heard it’s a good idea to insert an RSS feed button into my blog. I’ve no idea what that is or how it works, but when I add the RSS button under the “widgets” configuration, I then go to my blog & click on the RSS button, and I get a page full of html code and the message “This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below” at the top.

    What am I doing wrong?

    When you see the page full of code are you using Google Chrome as your browser? If so, that’s because Chrome doesn’t include a method for making the RSS feed more readable. If you clicked the link in Safari or Firefox you’d see a more readable page.

    That link would also let anyone who uses an RSS reader like Google Reader or others paste the URL in and subscribe to your site. Hope that helps clear things up.
