How to make RSS link for comments available to all readers automatically?
-
Hi,
This question is about RSS feeds for comments to individual blog postings.
Some blog readers have asked if I can make available a link at the end of each post, to allow them to subscribe to an RSS feed for the comments on that post.I’ve noticed that when I’m logged in, and when I’m looking at an individual, published post, then at the bottom of each post there’s a heading called “Actions” and below it is exactly the RSS feed I’m looking for. But if I’m not logged in, it’s not there.
I can’t find any setting to change this (ie to make the RSS link available whether someone’s logged in or not). Can this be done?
(I’ve tried searching the forum, and googling, but with no luck.)
Rick.
PS If it’s relevant, I’m using the Freshy theme.

Hmm – what browser are you using? I just checked (using IE7 while logged out) and I saw the RSS feed for the comments there.

Dear Vivian,
The problem seems to be solved. It’s now displaying exactly the way I want it too. Perhaps it was just a random blip, earlier on yesterday. (Or maybe I was seeing things! Though actually – I am certain the Actions heading was not appearing when I was logged out – I checked it a couple of times. And the problem was reported to me by two people.) Anyway, it’s working now
Thank you very much for your help.
Rick.
