How to make sidebar widgets appear on all pages?
-
I recently noticed that the individual links for my WP blog postings just display the content of the post. My sidebar (widgets) do not show up. They just show up on main blog page. What’s the best way to make this work so the widgets show up on all pages? I’m using a variety of different themes on several blogs and I think they all have this same problem. Thanks!

You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.
This support forum is for WordPress.com hosted blogs only. If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here.
If you don’t understand the difference, you may find this information helpful.

I have the same problem, mrorangecat at my wordpress.com blog, icanhasgrace.com. My calandar widget has disappeared from the home page and several other pages, while it appears on others.
Additionally, I cannot edit the settings for any of the widgets. The flickr widget, for example, is stuck on the default setting and I can’t change the information to get it to point to my flickr account.
There needs to be a complete widget reset button of some kind!
I would appreciate any help I could get.

It seemed to resolve itself.
For the additional problem, adjusting the contrast on my monitor revealed the drop-down arrow for widgets, enabling me to input info for configuration. Before I did that I couldn’t see the arrows on my screen at all.
Others have posted that they are very dim (the arrows, not the posters).
